  • Day 1 Jerusalem / Taba

    Early morning departure from Jerusalem. Traveling ancient caravan routes we make our way to Taba, and arrive in time for dinner and overnight. (Our service starts from Taba Border)

  • Day 2 Taba / St. Catherine

    Early departure to Sainte Catherine in South Sinai - Visit the Monastery of Saint Catherine at the base of Mount Sinai. Trace the route of the Exodus along the eastern Sinai coast to Wadi Feiran where the Children of Israel withstood the Amalekites. Travel to Elim where the Children of Israel camped by the oasis of 70 palm trees. You final stop of the day will be Marah by the Red Sea where the "waters were bitter". Continue to Cairo . Arrival – Diner & Overnight

  • Day 3 Cairo / Tour

    Breakfast, and then start your sightseeing by visiting the Pyramids of Giza. Cheops (Khufu) Pyramid, largest of the three, was built in the 3rd Dynasty about 2690 BC, and is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. In front of the Pyramid of Chephren (Khafre), we find the Sphinx carved from a single piece of stone. It is a lion with a Pharaoh`s head thought to be a portrait of the pharaoh Chephren (Khafre). Enjoy a camel ride by the Pyramids area (OPTIONAL), then continue with visit to the Citadel of Salah El-Din, the Mohammed Ali Mosque, and the "medieval bazaars" of Khan-El-Khalili, where you can buy jewelry one can bargain buying jewelry and hand-tooled leather items. Return to your hotel for an overnight

  • Day 4 Cairo / Tour

    After breakfast, start your full day tour with your Egyptologist tour guide, Visit to the church of Zeitoun. Here in 1968 a vision of Mary was seen by hundreds of thousands of people; continue your tour at Old Cairo &visit the famous Hanging Church with its breathtaking icons and the synagogue of Ben Ezra that marks the spot where it is believe Moses was found by the Pharaoh`s daughter.  Then visit the cave under what is now the Greek cemetery where the Holy Family hid from the soldiers of King Herod. Then visit the church of Maadi on the Nile, trip will continue to the church at Mostord that is built over a cave. Continue your visit to the famed tree of Mary in Matariya, back to Cairo hotel and overnight. (Breakfast)

  • Day 5 Cairo / Wadi El Natroun

    After breakfast, start your full day tour with your Egyptologist tour guide, to Wadi

    Natrun on the famed desert road.  It is here that you will see the magnificent monasteries of al-Sorian, al-Baramose, al-Anba Bishoi and, if permission granted, the monastery of Abu Maker. These are functioning monasteries where you will meet monks who will colorfully present the history of these incredible bastions of spirituality. Back to Cairo hotel and overnight. (Breakfast)

  • Day 6 Cairo / Aswan / Nile Cruise

    Breakfast: Buffet breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, and check-out.
    Transfer: Your Gateway Travel Egypt Representative will meet you at your hotel and escort you to Cairo Domestic airport in an air-conditioned vehicle.
    Flight: Board your flight to Aswan.
    Transfer: Gateway Travel Aswan Representative will meet you at your hotel and escort you to your luxury Nile cruise boat for check-in.
    High Dam: Visit the Aswan High Dam, Egypt’s contemporary example of building on a monumental scale.
    Philae Temple: Take a short motorboat ride to visit the romantic and majestic Philae Temple on the Island of Agilka.
    Unfinished Obelisk: Next we proceed to the Granite Quarries, which supplied the ancient Egyptians with most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples, and still hold a huge unfinished obelisk.
    Lunch: Buffet lunch on board while sailing to KomomboKom Ombo Temple: Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. The temple stands at a bend in the Nile where in ancient times sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the riverbank.

  • Day 7 Edfu / Luxor

    Breakfast: Buffet breakfast on board.

    Edfu Temple: This afternoon, explore the largest and most completely preserved Pharaonic – albeit Greek-built – temple in Egypt, the extraordinary Temple of Horus at Edfu

  • Day 8 Luxor

    Breakfast: Very early buffet breakfast on board.
    Valley of the Kings and Queens: Today’s Program will start with a visit to the West Bank of Luxor to explore the Valley of the Kings, a vast City of the Dead where magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks, decorated richly, and filled with treasures for the afterlife by generations of Pharaohs. You will also see the Valley of the Queens.   
    Hatshepsut Temple: Rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Ancient Egypt’s only female Pharaoh) merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it, as if nature herself had built this extraordinary monument.Colossi of Memnon: On the way back to the river Nile, your road passes by the famed Colossi of Memnon, known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn.Lunch: On board, while you cruise to Edfu passing by Esna Lock.
    Afternoon Tea: Take a relaxing afternoon tea on one of the upper decks of your boat.

  • Day 9 Luxor / Cairo

    Luxor Temple: This early Morning your Egyptologist will guide you on a tour of the East Bank of Luxor, starting with the strikingly graceful Temple of Luxor dedicated to the god Amun.

    Karnak Temple: Proceed to the Temple of Karnak, built over more than a thousand years by generations of Pharaohs. The great “Hypostyle Hall” is an incredible forest of giant pillars, covering an area larger than the whole of Notre Dame Cathedral.

    Transfer: Your Gateway Travel Representative will escort you to Luxor Domestic airport.
    Flight: Board your 1 Hour flight back to Cairo
    Transfer: Your Gateway Travel Cairo Representative will meet you at Cairo domestic airport & will transfer you to your hotel.
