  • Day 1 Arrive Cairo Airport

    Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted by your GW representative. You will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in, and will stay the night in Cairo.

  • Day 2 Cairo

    Breakfast at hotel, start early today & take the road towards Zaafarana- half way to Hurghada where you will be headed to the Coptic Monastery of St Anthony, as well as the Monastery of St Paul, both of which are found in the eastern desert, at the base of the Red Sea Mountains. St Anthony was a prominent figure in the founding of Christian monasticism, while St Paul was one of the first Christian hermits. Both monasteries are still occupied, despite the fact that they were founded in the 4th and 5th centuries.     Breakfast at your hotel & check out, take the road back to Cairo Your GW representative will transfer you to the Old Cairo where you will see the hanging church then head for the Citadel where you will enjoy a half day sightseeing to Islamic Cairo, see the Fortress of Salah el Din & Mohamed Ali Mosque. Lunch during the tour in a local restaurant . Continue to Khan El Khalili one of the oldest & most famous bazaars in Cairo. Back to hotel and overnight

  • Day 7 Cairo / Tour

    After breakfast at your hotel, start your sightseeing by visiting the Pyramids of Giza. Cheops (Khufu) Pyramid, largest of the three, was built in the 3rd Dynasty about 2690 BC, and is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. In front of the Pyramid of Chephren (Khafre), we find the Sphinx carved from a single piece of stone. It is a lion with a Pharaoh`s head thought to be a portrait of the pharaoh Chephren (Khafre). Enjoy a camel ride by the Pyramids area (OPTIONAL),

    Lunch at a local restaurant then continue your day to visit the Egyptian Museum famous for its antiquities from Egypt`s Pharaonic period, which dates back some 50 centuries & includes the fabulous treasures of the mysterious young King Tutankhamen.Back to your hotel & overnight.
