Arrival to Cairo Airport, Meet/ assist at airport by your private GW representative, Transfer to your hotel in Cairo , check in assisted by your tour coordinator,

Day 2
Cairo / Tour
After breakfast start your full day tour with your Egyptologist tour guide. Visit the 4500 years old Giza Pyramids, the only remaining wonders of the ancient world. Also see the Sphinx carved from a single stone representing a creature with a Pharaohs head and a Lion’s body. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Then continue to visit the Egyptian Museum famous for its antiquities from Egypt`s Pharaonic period, which dates back some 50 centuries & includes the fabulous treasures of the mysterious young King Tutankhamen, Back to your hotel

Day 3
Cairo / Abu SImbel
Check out after breakfast assisted by your GW Coordinator transfer to the airport to flight to Abu Simbel, upon arrival in Abu Simbel, your field coordinator will meet, assist and transfer you to the cruise ship.
Lunch on board,
Visit the Abu Simbel temples, symbol of the international campaign for the salvage of the Nubian monuments; the temple of Ramses II and his beloved wife Nefertari. A welcome cocktail will served in, Compulsory Sound & Light Show at Abu Simbel temple, followed by a candlelight dinner on board and overnightOvernight : On board

Day 4
Kasr Ibrim / Amada / Derr / Wadi El Seboua
For those who would like to watch the spectacular sunrise at Abu Simbel, please enjoy an early morning visit to the temples. Breakfast is served while sailing to Kasr Ibrim, arrival to Kasr Ibrim, sole vestige of the distant past of Nubia in its original location. During the Pharaonic period, this hill was dominated by a citadel and throughout the Medieval era. The summit of the hill was dominated by a cathedral of which we can still admire some Roman arches. Lunch will be served while sailing to Amada, visit the temple of Amada of the XVIIIth dynasty, built during the reign of Thohotmosis III, Amenophis III and Thohotmosis IV, Also visit the hemi-spocs of Derr, dedicated by Ramses II to the rising sun and the tomb of Penout, viceroy of Nubia. A relaxing afternoon sail to Wadi El Seboua.

Day 5
Wadi El Seboua /Dakka & Maharaka / Aswan
Morning visit to Wadi El Seboua. The temple of Wadi El Seboua dedicated by Ramses II to the two Gods Amon Ra and Ra Harmakis, The temple of Dakka, dedicated to the God Thot of divine wisdom, lord of times and science, master of literature, Visit the Greco-Roman temple of Maharakka.

Day 6
Kalabsha / Beit el Wali / Aswan / Kom Ombo
Disembarkation after breakfast. Visit the Kalabsha temple with its Pharaonic aspect, remodeled into the Greco-roman style and dedicated to the God Mandoulis, Also visit the hemi-speos of Beit El Wali, erected by Ramses II in the beginning of high Reign, erected to honour the Goddess Isis.
Your GW field coordinator will transfer you to your cruise pier to check in your vessel that sails from Aswan to Luxor in 3 nights.
Visit the High Dam, which was built in 1960s to save Egypt from the floods and droughts, Unfinished Obelisk as well as visit the beautiful Temple of Goddess “Isis” famous as Philae temple. Then sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the double Temple shared by “Horus & Sobek” the crocodile God. Sail to Edfu and overnight

Edfu / Esna / Luxor
Visit the most complete and entirely Greek Temple of Horus in Edfu. Sail to Esna. Cross the lock. Sail to Luxor and overnight.

West Bank
Cross the west bank, to visit Necropolis of Thebes where you will see the tombs of the ancient pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings. Then continue to visit the temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.

Day 9
Luxor / Cairo
Disembark after breakfast. Visit the East bank, look at the 3200 years old Luxor and Karnak temples. You will be transferred to Luxor domestic airport to board your 1 hour flight back to Cairo.
Your GW representative will meet you at the airport & will transfer you to the Citadel where you will enjoy a half day sightseeing to Islamic Cairo, see the Fortress of Salah el Din & Mohamed Ali Mosque. Continue to Khan El Khalili one of the oldest & most famous bazaars in Cairo. Back to hotel and overnight
